the first step...

so it was only 3 weeks ago, that i came up with the idea of holding a fundraising event to support my missions trip to jane and finch, and God has blessed me with so many people so willing to help me out in planning, organizing, and everything else. it hasn't been very long, but God works in so many ways behind the scenes, through people, making all of this possible. God has made a mere idea into something big, blossoming into an event that will hopefully cause a change in people's hearts, and a revolution beginning in our city.

today, some of the worship teams and some of the volunteers came together for the first time and just had some worship practice, and a time of prayer, and it was really good, it's starting to really click in, that this event is really happening, and that God has provided so much and has done so much.

what's it all about: a fundraising night of worship, praise, and empowerment for us christians, where there will be a speaker and some testimonies and sharing, challenging us to take up the cross and follow Him.... whether it be the inner city and to the streets, or outside of canada....even at our schools and on campus... we are called to be lights in this world.... so let's start by being that light on our own street corner...
